Food and Beverage Innovations was founded in December 2012 in Portland, Oregon, when two entrepreneurs came together with the idea to simplify the messy, time-consuming process of making gelatin. Introducing Jevo, the first fully automated gelatin making machine.

Jeff Jetton and Tyler Williams founded Food and Beverage Innovations to provide solutions to the food and beverage industry that eliminate the manual process of making gelatin through innovation in product, process and technology. Jevo reduces the 4 to 5 hour process of making gelatin to about 10 minutes, resulting in 20 great tasting gelatin cups or gelatin shots in endless flavor profiles.

Jevo is designed for commercial use in national chain, mid-size and small nightclubs, bars, restaurants, casinos, resorts, cruise lines, family entertainment centers and gentleman’s clubs, with the goal to expand into other markets, including home and healthcare, with future models of Jevo.

Jeff, the former founder, President and CEO of Auctionpay and Card Capture Services, has over 25 years experience in building successful technology based companies. Tyler has over 15 years of combined business experience, with 7 years owning and operating multiple restaurants and nightclubs including Bettie Ford, East Chinatown Lounge and Split Dine and Drink. Together, they form a dynamic entrepreneurial duo to bring Jevo to market.

Jeff Jetton, CEO + Co-Founder

Jeff Jetton, serial entrepreneur and former founder, President & CEO of Auctionpay and Card Capture Services. Jetton has an extensive career in credit card payment processing coupled with a strong dedication to community involvement. It was both that inspired Jetton to develop and launch Portland, Ore.-based Auctionpay in 2001. After experiencing check-in confusion and long item pick-up lines as a frequent benefit auction attendee, Jetton envisioned easy-to-use technology tools that could help non-profits large and small increase revenue, and improve donor and volunteer experiences at auction fund-raising events. Tapping his 15-year electronic payment background and nonprofit board experience, he founded Auctionpay, a low-cost electronic payment processing solution that eliminates the inefficient manual processes, long guest lines and reporting glitches at charity events, while increasing needed funds for nonprofits. Auctionpay sold to Global payments (GPN) in September of 2009. Prior to founding Auctionpay, Jeff was founder, President and CEO of Card Capture Services, Inc. (CCS), the nation’s largest distributer of nonbank-affiliated ATM machines, acquired in March 2000 by E*trade. As company President/CEO, and Chairman of the board, Jetton helped lead the build out of one of the largest ATM networks in the U.S., with more than 8,000 ATMs nationwide. In 1998, the company was recognized by Inc. magazine as the 43rd fastest growing private company in the U.S.

 

Tyler Williams, VP Business Development + Co-Founder

 

Tyler Williams embodies a wide range of business experiences in both the marketing and hospitality realms.  Tyler, a fourth generation native of the Portland area, retains a heritaged network of personal and professional relationships. A successful serial entrepreneur, Tyler began his career operating a decade long enterprise of building a retail-brand print and design operation. With his experience in owning and operating seven restaurant and nightclubs throughout Oregon, he has turned his sights on solving pain points in the hospitality industry by co-founding Food and Beverage Innovations. F+BI creates technology services for the on premise food and beverage industry as well as the healthcare sector for the over the counter drug industry.
 
Tyler lives in Lake Oswego, Ore with his wife and 2 children.

 

Stan Levitsky, VP Operations & Product Development

Stan joined F+BI with solid experience in taking innovative, brand oriented products to market.  Previously, as VP of Global Operations at SOL REPUBLIC, Stan built the operational infrastructure which supported the Company’s triple digit growth from its humble start in 2011.  He developed strong relationships with key Chinese ODMs and optimized global supply chain and logistics performance, minimizing time to market and product costs while ensuring a high quality consumer experience.  By 2014, SOL claimed the #5 position among US headphone CE brands including Beats, Bose, LG, and Sony and was awarded Tech Company of the Year in the Growth category by Technology Association of Oregon.  Stan’s previous experience includes leadership roles at Natus Medical and Kentrox, in Quality/Regulatory, Supply Chain and Product Engineering in Medical Device, Network/Telecom and Consumer Electronics product categories.  

 

Reymond Hernandez, Director of Marketing 

Reymond brings over 14 years experience helping start-up, mid-size, and enterprise tech companies go to market, sell-through, and scale in local and emerging foreign markets. He has experience on both the agency and client side, local and overseas, developing the strategic direction and NSV growth for B2B2C brands across very diverse markets, including products with varied channels of distribution sold in more than 60 countries. Establishing and nurtured regional marketing teams to build brand health and consumer engagement across entire region and portfolio of brands. Reymond heads-up the creative brand strategy, PR strategy, demand generation, positioning, sales channel management, product marketing, sales marketing operations, investor relations, as well as, developing and executing consumer engagement plans for Jevo.

 

Michael Blodgett, Director of Field Operations

 

Michael has over 12 years in the field service industry, servicing and repairing complex medical devices with Innovation Associates, Natus Medical, and Remetronix.  In his role with F+BI, he is applying his knowledge and experience to oversee all field operations. Michael has an eye for detail that is unsurpassed and is dedicated to the quality of his work and the customers that rely on his team for support.

Sean Rouche is a managing partner at Greenhouse Agency, Inc., one of the nation’s largest strategic experiential marketing groups, which works with world-class companies such as Brown-Forman, MillerCoors, and Dr Pepper Snapple Group.

 

Walter Bowen

Walter Bowen has 25 years of experience in senior housing and general real estate. He is currently the CEO and Founder of BPM Senior Living Company. Walter has been involved in the development, ownership and management of Assisted Living communities since 1986 and has devoted the majority of his time to the ownership and operation of those communities. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer of several related companies, including Bowen Property Management Company, Bowen Financial Services Corp., a company formed to obtain financing for real estate development projects, and Bowen Development Company, a real estate construction company. Walter attended the University of Oregon and is a graduate of Portland State University. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Assisted Living Communities Association of America and on the advisory board for the National Investment Conference for the Senior Living and Long Term Care Industries.

 

Andy Lytle

Andy is the former Executive Vice President for Young's Columbia. He was responsible for delivering the sales and execution for their supplier initiatives as well as providing world class customer service to their retail partners. With 20 years experience in the alcohol industry, Andy has spent the last 10 years as Vice President of Sales for Mt. Hood Beverage managing a beer, wine and non-alcohol portfolio of over $350 million in revenues. Prior to that he held positions as National Sales Manager - Convenience for Coors Brewing Co in Golden, CO and also held a variety of sales and management roles with E&J Gallo Winery. Andy is a passionate community leader who devotes much of his time working with children's charity organizations and is on the board of directors for the Children's Cancer Association. Andy holds a business degree from the University of Arizona.

 

Michelle Ricker, RDN

A Registered Dietitian and preeminent wellness expert, she is the founder of Living with Vitality, a consulting company based in Los Angeles. A freelance business with the mission of sharing trade secrets on nutrition, fitness, health and wellness, and providing clients with the tools and best business practices with which to take new products or programs to market in our perpetual fluxing world of nutrition.

A true Dietitian with a Mission.... her mantra is to help people Live with Vitality by working with influential companies that will spread the Vitality love via their own unique product, service or message.

Michelle’s broad experience includes working in the field of nutrition and exercise for over 20 years. She began her career in the clinical setting of Kidney Dialysis.  She lead teams in quality improvement, rising to Nutrition Director of 500 clinics for DaVita, the second largest international dialysis company.  Michelle continued in executive management for Pentec Health, Inc., as she directed the clinical education and sales team while researching and creating innovative IV formulations.  She holds a Patent for an IDPN (Intradialytic Parenteral Nutrition) formulation called Proplete. She recently continued in dialysis management as the Director of Nutrition for US Renal Care, Inc.

Realizing that prevention is stronger than the cure, she started a nutrition private practice and lecture circuit.  She also designed and created www.LivingFit.com, an interactive website for the US Air Force that helps the enlisted and their families live a more healthy and active life.

As the Director of Nutrition & Clinical Programs for Apex Fitness, Inc. and eventually, 24 hour Fitness Worldwide, she lead the integration of an energy expenditure technology with a nutrition/exercise web application now known as bodybuggTM.. Additionally she conducted research & development on a broad array of nutritional supplements.

Michelle has worked with multiple professional athletes and continues to lecture in the US and abroad.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Dayton and is a Registered Dietitian. She is certified with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Health and Fitness Instructor and has studied Primordial Sound Meditation with Deepak Chopra.
